What we do

The whole septic system, handled by one company

Because our designer is in-house and we run our own excavators, the same company can take a system from soil evaluation to design, permitting, installation, and every pump-out after that. Nothing gets lost in a handoff.

Our prices are published, on purpose

Most septic companies make you call to find out what a pump-out costs. Ours are right here: a standard inspection is $275, a 1,000-gallon pump-out is $575, an RV pump-out is $200, and a service call is $175. Bigger jobs get a real quote before any work starts.

Certified O&M provider

Skagit County requires septic inspections

All residents of Skagit County whose homes or businesses are served by a septic system need periodic inspections: every year for most system types, or every three years if the system is conventional gravity, per Skagit County Code 12.05.160 and WAC 246-272A-0270.

Inspections keep your system working properly and catch problems while they are still cheap. We are a certified O&M provider: we do the inspection, explain what we find in plain language, and file the county paperwork.

Family-owned

Started in 2010, still a family operation

Tiger Tank was started by Michael Yeates as a resource for friends and family, and it still runs that way: Michael Yeates and his sons, a crew of well-trained technicians, and equipment we are honestly a little proud of.

The habit that built the business is education. From the beginning, Michael Yeates would spend an hour with people just explaining how their septic system worked. We still do free walkthroughs for new homeowners, and our techs are taught to answer questions, not dodge them.

Where we work

Skagit, Whatcom, and the islands

Based in Bow, WA, serving all of Skagit County including Mount Vernon, Burlington, Sedro-Woolley, Anacortes, La Conner and Concrete, plus Whatcom County and the San Juan Islands.

We service by county, because our certifications run by county. And yes, we put excavators on boats: the San Juan Islands are a regular part of our routes, not a special favor.

Not sure whether you are in range? Call and ask. If we cannot get to you, we will point you to someone who can.
